Lent Responsive Reading
LEADER: Christ is risen!
PEOPLE: He is risen indeed!
LEADER: The stone has been rolled away, and the tomb is empty.
PEOPLE: Death has been defeated, and love has triumphed.
LEADER: Come, let us worship the risen Lord.
PEOPLE: Hallelujah! Christ is risen!
LEADER: God of eternal life and ultimate victory, we confess that we sometimes live as though the tomb is still sealed. We doubt Your power to bring new life from death and struggle to walk in resurrection joy. Forgive us, Lord, and help us to live as Easter people, proclaiming Your hope and love to the world through the resurrection truth. We pray this in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
PEOPLE: Amen.

Glorious Day
Verse 1
I was buried beneath my shame
Who could carry that kind of weight
It was my tomb 'til I met You
Verse 2
I was breathing but not alive
All my failures I tried to hide
It was my tomb 'til I met You
Chorus
('Cause when) You called my name (and)
I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness into Your glorious day
You called my name (and) I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness into Your glorious day
Verse 3
Now Your mercy has saved my soul
Now Your freedom is all that I know
The old made new Jesus when I met You
Bridge
I needed rescue my sin was heavy
But chains break at the weight of Your glory
I needed shelter I was an orphan
Now You call me a citizen of Heaven
When I was broken You were my healing
Now Your love is the air that I'm breathing
I have a future my eyes are open

I Know A Name
Verse 1
I know a Name
That can silence roaring waves
I know a Name
That can empty out a grave
I know a Name
It’s the only Name that saves
And it’s worthy of all praise
Chorus
I call You Jesus
I call You I call You Healer
Risen and reigning in power
Something comes out of the grave
Every time I call You Jesus
I call You I call You Savior
Worthy of glory forever
Something comes out of the grave
(Every time I call Your Name)
Verse 2
I have a King
With dominion over death
He holds the keys
In his holy nail-scarred hands
He is the heel
That has crushed the serpent’s head
Our resurrected Great I Am
Bridge 1
Every time I call Your Name
Chains break dry bones wake
Every time I call Your Name
The gates of hell shake
(Every time I call Your Name)
Bridge 2
Where oh death is now your sting
And where oh grave your victory
Bridge 3
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive
Dead things come alive
In the name of Jesus

My Jesus
Verse 1
Are you past the point of weary
Is your burden weighing heavy
Is it all too much to carry
Let me tell you 'bout my Jesus
Do you feel that empty feeling
'Cause shame's done all its stealing
And you're desperate for some healing
Let me tell you 'bout my Jesus
Chorus
He makes a way where there ain't no way
Rises up from an empty grave
Ain't no sinner that He can't save
Let me tell you 'bout my Jesus
His love is strong and His grace is free
And the good news is I know that He
Can do for you what He's done for me
Let me tell you 'bout my Jesus
And let my Jesus change your life
Interlude 1
Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah
Amen amen (amen)
Verse 2
Who can wipe away the tears
From broken dreams and wasted years
And tell the past to disappear
Oh and let me tell you 'bout my Jesus
And all the wrong turns that you would
Go and undo if you could
Who can work it all for your good
Let me tell you about my Jesus
Verse 3
Who would take my cross to Calvary
Pay the price for all my guilty
Who would care that much about me
Let me tell you 'bout my Jesus oh
Interlude 2
Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah
Amen amen
Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah
Let my Jesus change your life
