Nursery Volunteer – Need people during the 10:15 worship hour on Sunday, or 5:15 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday to attend to the little ones. The Nursery Staff Workers teach the PreK during that time, so extra hands are needed. You can help teach as much or as little as you like, or you can just play with the littles. A short on-line training and background check is required. You will never be left alone with the kids in the nursery and there will always be at least one Nursery Staff Worker in the room. We will not schedule you more than one Sunday or Wednesday a month (or more if requested).

Nursery Staff Worker – You can apply to become part of the paid Nursery Staff. The Nursery Staff supports Sunday mornings (8:30 – 11:30 am) and Wed nights (5-7:30 pm). There is flexibility in the hours scheduled if you can’t support all those times. Training and a background check are required.

Childrens Church Teacher – Childrens Church takes place on all Sundays at all locations on all Sundays (except the first Sunday of the month which is Family First Sunday). There are opportunities at 8:30 am W@W, 9:00 am Alf Coleman, and 10:15 am Alf Coleman. Each Sunday, we need six different people to support this effort. As a teacher, you will present the lesson, with the help of the support person. All material, resources, and information about the lesson are provided (there is even a section “Say This” if you are not sure what to say). You are encouraged to make the lesson your own or teach straight from the script. Lessons are provided ahead of time for review. We ask that you be available one Sunday/one service per month, but we want to work with you however we can for you to be part of the team.

Childrens Church Support Teacher – During the Childrens Church hours, a ‘second non-related adult’ is needed to ensure safety and security. This person will support the teacher in teaching the lesson that is provided. No prep is required, and lessons are provided for review ahead of time. Having extra hands (and extra hearts) at Children’s Church is extremely valuable. We ask that you be available one Sunday/one service per month, but we will work with you however we can for you to be part of the team.

Wednesday Night Kids Ministry – We are extremely short-staffed in this ministry on Wednesday nights from 5:15 - 7:30 pm. On Wednesday nights, we feed the kids, have a time of worship, then have time with small groups. We need teachers, teacher support, and other adults who can come and help serve food, etc. Teachers are provided full lessons ahead of time, and all resources to conduct the lessons are provided.
